Shannon Bishop

Shannon Bishop is the University Registrar at Converse University. Shannon has been in higher education for 17 years, most recently as the Director of Student Advising & Persistence with Spartanburg Methodist College.

Shannon is a first generation college student. She has earned a Bachelor in Business Administration Degree with a concentration in Human Resources. Several years later, she attended Anderson University and earned a Master in Organizational Leadership. Shannon is a servant leader and believes this is key to working collaboratively with colleagues and students.

She is a westerner by birth (Montana) but a southerner by heart! She grew up in Simpsonville, South Carolina and currently resides in Woodruff. She is married to Richard Bishop and has one son (Anthony) and one daughter (Autumn). You can find Shannon in her spare time doing anything family related and in the summer, that is usually at the pool or the lake!
